Abstract

1359456 Compartmented containers; packages WOLF-GERATE GmbH 17 April 1973 [28 April 1972] 18463/73 Headings B8D and B8C Displaceable plugs 21, 22 and 23 defining chambers 3 and 4 in a capsule 16, which is secured within the neck of a bottle 2, are bodily pressed out of the capsule by a slidable sleeve 25 having an external diameter corresponding to the internal diameter of the capsule to permit the constituents of a plant spray within the chambers to mix with a solvent within the bottle. The sleeve is stored in an inverted position around an extension 26 of a screw cap 24 with a reduced diameter portion 25a lowermost. In use, the cap and sleeve are removed, and the reduced diameter sleeve portion is pushed over the reduced end 29 of the cap extension, Fig. 2 (not shown). The assembly is then inserted into the bottle neck and capsule and the plugs 21, 22 and 23 ejected. The capsule is provided with a side wall opening to facilitate complete removal of the mixture formed, this opening being closed by the wall 28 of the uppermost plug during storage and by the sleeve during ejection of the capsule plugs until the reduced diameter sleeve portion 25a is brought into alignment therewith.
