Abstract

1358870 Feeding sheets RICOH KK 29 July 1971 [31 July 1970] 30289/71 Heading B8R [Also in Division B6] A mimeographic machine comprises a sheet feed device which is arranged to actuate an ink supply means in response to the lowering of the upper level of the stack 32. The sheets are fed by a friction separator roller 33 carried on an arm 35. When the arm 35 has dropped a certain amount a ratchet 71a is actuated to raise a rack 31a which is attached to sheet supporting tray 31. In response to raising of the tray a pump device is operated to supply ink to an inking cylinder of the machine.
