135,866. Mason, J. H. Oct. 9, 1918, [Convention date.]. Wheel-driving attachments.- An emergency attachment for wheel hubs to allow temporary use of the wheel when the usual parts of the hub are broken or damaged, and adapted for wheels in which the spokes are clamped between a fixed flange F and a detachable plate P by bolts B, consists of a sleeve 1 which is secured to the body H of the hub by set screws 2, and is provided with a flange 3 having apertures 4 to engage the heads of the bolts. The sleeve may have an end plate 5 which overlies the end of the hub and is engaged by the axle-nut 6.
