Abstract

1351595 Electric irons ISAAC BRAITHWAITE & SON ENGS Ltd 19 April 1971 [19 Feb 1970] 7905/70 Heading D1A [Also in Division G3] An electric iron has heating means controlled by a thermistor 11 mounted in a recess 8 in the sole plate and connected to solid-state electric control circuitry located externally of the iron. The iron shown is supplied with steam from externally and has an asbestos sheet 13 to limit heat transfer to the handle.
