1350022 Coating inside tubes VSESOJUZNY NAUCHNO - ISSLEDOVATELSKY INSTITUT PO STROITELSTVU MAGISTRALNYKN TRUBOPROVODOV 28 March 1972 14385/72 Heading B2L The inside of vertically mounted or inclined tube 5 is coated by liquid from a container 6 by causing relative movement of the tube and container so that liquid' enters the tube and then reversing the movement so that it is drained. The container may be raised by a winch (not shown) to fill the tube and a float valve 12 provided in the control circuit of the winch so that the direction of drive of the winch is reversed when the liquid in the tube reaches the required level. The tube 5 and container 6 may be connected by a flexible tube 9 or a telescopic tube 10. If a telescope tube 10 is used a reservoir 11 is provided.
