Abstract

1347757 Welding by fusion INSTITUT ELEKTROSVARKI IMENI E O PATONA AKADEMII NAUK UKRAINSKOI SSR 16 June 1971 28125/71 Heading B3R A continuous arc-welding electrode, particularly intended for CO 2 -shielded welding comprises a steel sheath and a powdery core the core comprising the following components in percentage by weight: The electrode is suitable for A.C. or D.C. welding. In examples given in which specific core compositions are recited, the steel sheath constitutes 75%, 70% and 65% of the total weight of the electrode.
