Abstract

134,559. Ranken, F. Sept. 13, 1917. Drawings to Specification. Explosives.-A composition for use in igniting a thermo-aluminic incendiary projectile charge is described containing barium nitrate, aluminium, sulphur, potassium nitrate, and shellac moistened with methylated spirits and pressed in place. A quick match or priming for the above is also described containing gunpower dust moistened with spirit varnish and pressed in place.
