1343996 Conditioning yarns OBERMAIER & CIE 1 Oct 1971 [26 Oct 1970] 45757/71 Heading D1P Hygroscopic textile material in an installation, including a container is conditioned by bringing the material and container to a temperature of approximately 30‹C and thereafter introducing sufficient steam into the air passing through the installation to establish a partial pressure of water vapour in the container equal at the there prevailing temperature to that of liquid held by capillarity in the material at the required moisture, content. A slight over pressure compared with the operating pressure in the container may be introduced into the air passing through the installation between a fan and heat exchanger by which the temperature of the air is regulated.
