Abstract

1335987 Container closures FOSTER GRANT CO Inc 6 Nov 1970 [19 Nov 1969] 53010/1970 Heading B8T A stackable lid comprises a side wall having a bead 38, incorporating a sealing face 40, below which is a second sealing face 56. Lugs (58), Fig. 1 (not shown), co-operate with an annular portion 44 to facilitate the stacking of lids (Fig. 5, not shown). Two sealing faces 20, 26 on a container engage the lid sealing faces 40, 56. The lid hinges at X to facilitate lid application.
