Abstract

1329319 Mushroom harvester HAUSERCHAMPIGNON-KULTUREN AG 6 Dec 1971 56557/71 Heading A1F A supporting frame has a longitudinally extending side member 10, a transversely extending cross-member 20, and a cutter bar 28 attached via leaf springs 24 to member 20. The cutter bar, which is driven by motor 32 via shaft 34 having an eccentric end and connecting rod 40, oscillates rearwardly as well as transversely relative to the direction of advance of the frame. A brush 46 mounted on the frame and driven by motor 64, carries the heads of mushrooms rearwardly over the cutting edge of cutter 28 and then sweeps the crop up plate 62 and onto collector belt 58. This belt then carries the crop into receptacle 18. The harvester is supported by a shoe (54) Fig. 2 (not shown) and is driven over the mushroom patch by a series of transversely spaced drive belts 52. Motor 64 is coupled to belts 52, collector belt 58, and brush 46 via pulleys 66 and 68 and belts 70, 72 and 74.
