Abstract

1328796 Ground levelling device E TOWNSEND 25 Sept 1970 [30 June 1969] 32993/69 Heading A1B A ground levelling device, arranged to be pulled by a tractor coupled at 4 and 7, comprises ground levelling blade 3 and tine-carrycross-bars 31 extending transversely to the direction of motion; the cross-bars being pivotally mounted at 32 for movement about their longitudinal axes and the tines 28, 29 being capable of pivoting in either direction against a spring influencing means attached to fixed bar 43. A disc member 40 is linked to the cross-bar through members 37 and 47 and can move in a cylindrical casing 41 between springs 39. A roller 25 and auxiliary spring- mounted tines 18 may also be attached to the device and rams 13 and 44 may be used to move the tines into or out of contact with the soil.
