Abstract

979,152. Agricultural implements. MASSEY-FERGUSON (UNITED KING- DOM) Ltd. March 6, 1961 [April 2, 1960], No. 11734/60. Heading A1B. An agricultural implement comprises a tool frame 21 pivotally mounted on a shaft 15 forming part of a main frame 17 which is attachable to a tractor power lift, the frame 21 being provided with wheels 39 mounted on members 37 connected by a rotatable transverse shaft 35. Stops 45, 46 limit the movement of the wheels 39. The wheels are of substantial weight so that they are urged downwardly by a force sufficient to tilt the frame 21 about the shaft 15 so as to lower the frame at either side relative to the main frame when only the wheel at the opposite side is supported by the ground. The heavy wheels may be replaced by wheels of normal weight which are urged downwardly by spring means. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 870,501.
