Abstract

1325068 Packages H W TOMLINSON 16 Nov 1970 54375/70 Headings B8C and B8F An article 13 is held within an aperture 14 in a display board 12 by at least one label 17 severable between a central portion 18 and end tabs 14 so that the article 13 may be removed bearing the central portion 18 intact. To facilitate severance perforations 21, notches (43, Fig. 4) or no adhesive may be provided between the tabs 19 and central portion 18. A second label (54, Figs. 7-9) may be applied to the other side of the board and article. Parts of the labels between the tabs (62, Figs. 7-9) may be provided with an adhesive of low tack only to facilitate separation of the article. The article may be a force (as shown) sliding (Figs. 4-5) or a loose (Figs. 7-9) fit within the aperture which may open out to a board edge (as shown) or be set within the board (Figs. 4-5). Additional perforations (66, Fig. 7) may be provided in the central portion for split tubular containers and additional tamper-proof tabs (44, Figs. 4, 5) may be provided for screw feed containers e.g. lipsticks. The board 12 and label(s) may be of paper.
