1325018 Continuous heat treatment furnaces J AICHELIN 6 Nov 1970 [28 Nov 1969] 52826/70 Addition to 1290934 Heading F4B In a continuous heat treatment furnace of the general type disclosed in Specification 1,290,934, the grid-like pallets 8 are conveyed by a roller-way conveyer 7 and are covered by a plate 12 with a central aperture 13. The space below the pallets is divided by horizontal partitions 26 defining a central opening immediately below which is the impeller 15 of the fan 4. Recirculating air travels upwardly through channels 21 disposed between the conveyer rollers 6 and defined by shaped bricks 18, 20 which have tongue and grooved joints with adjacent bricks. The channels 21 open into the space behind baffles 3 in which the radiant tubes 2 are disposed.
