Abstract

1321420 Double storey houses E SVENSSON 6 Oct 1971 [15 Oct 1970] 46498/71 Heading E1A In a two-storey house adapted to be quickly erected for holiday purposes the cross-section is in the form of an isosceles triangle superimposed on a trapezium and the roof comprises gabled end portions and at least one dormer 88 set in a ridged roof as shown. The roof rafters such as 77, 78 abut a ridge board 74 and rest on main joists 66, 68 and the side walls 54, 56; the joists 66, 68 in turn being carried by uprights 70, 72 mounted on a floor 52 supported on a base structure 73. The modified roof construction involving two dormers on either side of the ridge board together with minor constructional details of the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown), should be referred to.
