Abstract

1320380 Brushes; Hair combs N A ERKERS 20 Oct 1970 [24 Oct 1969] 49796/70 Headings A4K and A4V A brush or comb of plastics material comprises a brush head formed from two longitudinally extending ribs 1,2 inter-connected by a hinge 5 and having laterally extending bristles 10, 11 and a handle formed from two longitudinally extending ribs 3,4 inter-connected by a hinge 6 and connected to the head by transverse hinges 7, 8. In use the brush or comb is folded about hinges 5,6 so that the two sets of bristles 10,11 form two rows of bristles. The bristles of each set may be so shaped that in use they abut each other to form a single row of teeth, Fig. 12 (not shown). When not in use the brush can be folded about the transverse hinges, 7, 8 Fig. 8 (not shown). The bristles may be coated with toothpaste.
