Abstract

1319922 Delivering and feeding sheets HENRY SIMON Ltd 24 May 1972 [26 June 1971] 30048/71 Heading B8R Collapsed cases of corrugated board are delivered between rollers 20 and 21 into a hopper 10 where they are jogged by a plate 12 to provide a uniform stack. The collapsed cases are simultaneously fed in shingled formation from the bottom of the stack by a friction belt 19. The front wall 11 of the hopper is carried on pivotally mounted arms 13 and 14 arranged to be moved by a pressure cylinder 18 so that the wall may be raised and lowered to vary the degree of shingle. The wall 11 is adjustable along the arms to cater for material of different sizes.
