Abstract

1314545 Milling machine details DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 23 June 1970 [24 June 1969] 30531/70 Heading B3K [Also in Divisions B4- B5] A device for scoring a groove in a sheet 15 of material, e.g. P.V.C. projecting from an edge of an article 16, comprises a cutter 4 adapted to be rotated by an electric motor 1 and a stop means 6 arranged such that, during use of the device, the stop means can be brought into contact with a surface 13 of the article in a position such that the cutter, when rotated, is able to score a groove in the sheet along a line adjacent to the edge from which the sheet projects. The cutter is held on the spindle 2 of the electric motor 1 by means of a fastening device 3 and the stop means 6 is pivotallymounted on a screw (7), Fig. 2 (not shown), and clamped in adjusted position by screws (10). The stop is provided with guide surfaces (12) arranged to contact the surface 13. Alternatively, the guide surfaces may be replaced by rollers. A guard member 17 is provided and may be in the form of an open-fronted member as shown or in the form of a hood shown in dotted lines.
