Abstract

1314432 Load responsive brakes WESTING- HOUSE BREMSEN-UND APPARATEBAU GmbH 9 July 1970 [9 July 1969] 33380/70 Heading F2F A load responsive braking force regulator for vehicle air brakes comprises a body part in which is movable a differential piston 2, 3 a two-way valve element 5 and a hollow cylindrical adjusting or stop member 9, the upper end face of which constitutes an outlet valve seat 10, connected mechanically to a lever 13 which can execute angular deflections proportional to the vehicle load, the stop member 9 being locked in position, upon actuation of the brakes, by a spring clamping ring 23 accommodated in a retaining ring 22. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,012,059.
