Abstract

1313035 Roller conveyers KARL LEIBFRIED GmbH 4 Aug 1971 [21 Aug 1970] 36584/71 Heading B8A A coupling for a rollerway roller comprises a friction member 15 freely mounted on a shaft 17 and gripped between a sprocket 7 and an end member of the roller. End members 1 are freely supported on the shaft 17 and a spring 6 urges the adjacent member against the friction member 15. The end members 1 are a press fit within a cylinder 2 and are identical to stationary members 3 which support the shaft 17. The members 1, 3 and the friction member 15 are preferably formed of a polyamide. Annular portions 12 of the members 1 guide articles being conveyed.
