Abstract

1319016 Roller conveyers ALVEY Inc 5 July 1971 [6 July 1970] 31480/71 Heading B8A The pressure of a driving belt 18 on pairs of live rollers 13 is adjustable by means of drive control rollers 29 mounted on eccentrics 23 of which shafts 28 are rotatable by a tool (not shown). The rollers 13 are mounted on stationary shafts 14 and sleeves of inner bearing races of the pairs of rollers 13 are engaged by hook portions 21 of spring wire brackets 20 of which loops 22 are snapped into peripheral recesses 24 formed in the eccentrics 23. In a modification, Fig. 7, a lever 32 for adjusting the eccentric is provided on the shaft 28. The adjusting lever (38) in a further modification, Figs. 9, 10 (not shown), may be slid longitudinally to permit removal of the eccentric (23).
