Abstract

1312179 Refrigerated display cases CLARK EQUIPMENT CO 9 Nov 1971 [3 Dec 1970] 51874/71 Heading F4H A refrigerated display case having an access opening 8 across the front, includes first means 32 for refrigerating air and directing a curtain 70 of such refrigerated air downwardly across the access opening, and a second independent means 54 for refrigerating air and directing a curtain of this refrigerated air only over one or more lowermost shelves of the display case. Goods in the case may be replenished through sliding windows 18 in the rear wall 4. Air from the vertical curtain is collected at 44 and returned by ducts on either side of the windows to the first refrigerating unit. Cold air which has spilled on to the floor in front of the case is collected by inlets 61 and exhausted by fan 66 at the rear of the case.
