Abstract

1310798 Sink units H BLANC [trading as BLANC & CO] 13 July 1971 [25 July 1970] 32729/71 Heading A4N A sink unit comprises a sink 10 and a draining board having a surface 14 which is horizontal and from which drained water is passed into the sink by parallel troughs 20 whose depth increases towards the sink. The surface 14 may be flush with the periphery of the sink unit or flush with the periphery of the unit except where a rear flange 16 projects upwardly. A horizontal trough 12 may be provided around the sink 10 and may be flush with the lowest parts of troughs 20. The sink and draining board may be integrally formed by pressing from stainless steel sheet and the sink unit may be supported on a wooden frame (18), Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown). The unit may incorporate two sinks.
