Abstract
1309916 Lasers SIEMENS AG 3 Sept 1970 [4 Sept 1969] 42159/70 Heading H1C A laser active medium 8 and resonator mirrors 5 are rigidly interconnected by a frame 4, 6, 7, 9, and are mounted within a housing 3 by three resilient members 2, one of which is not shown in the Figure. This avoids distortion due to heating when the laser is switched on. The resilient members may be bonded metal/rubber antivibration mounts of the type commonly used for mounting small motors. The frame may be non-conductive. The mirrors are adjustable.
