1306812 Valves FLEXIAN HYDRAULICS Ltd 29 Jan 1970 [11 Nov 1968] 4429/70 Divided out of 1296204 Heading F2V A safety valve comprises a hollow housing 1, 2 with a fluid inlet 5 and a member 8 spring biased in a bore of the housing, for movement towards the inlet 5 to define a valve chamber of variable volume, the member 8 comprising means 9 to seal the inlet at the limit of inward movement thereof, and a pressure reaction surface 10 responsive to fluid pressure when the inlet is not sealed, the valve chamber further comprising ports 13 for discharging therefrom fluid received through the inlet 5.
