Abstract

1305469 Cutting blocks of plastic material INTONG AB 26 Oct 1970 [14 Nov 1969] 50765/70 Heading B5A A method of manufacturing building units from a cast body, e.g. of lightweight concrete, comprises casting the body in a mould, turning the body through an angle of 90 degrees to place a horizontally cast surface 2 in a vertical plane, advancing the body on a movable support along a single straight track to a first machining station B, where at least one of the vertical surfaces is fashioned to a shape, e.g. by rotary plane cutters 7 and profile cutters 8, advancing the body to a second station C where it is divided, e.g. by horizontal wires 10 into sections parallel to the direction of movement, and further advancing the body to a third station D where it is stopped, and divided into vertical transverse sections by, e.g. wires 12 in a hinged frame 13.
