Abstract
1304629 Fusible cut-outs OLVIS SMELTZEKERINGEN FABRIEK NV 10 May 1971 [15 Sept 1970] 13921/71 Heading H2G Fuses are made by winding at least one very thin metal wire (silver or tin) on a very thin carrier member of electrically non-conductive, heat resisting and heat-insulating fibre material (glass or quartz fibres) which is provided with a thin layer of thermosetting material which is set by heating before the metal wire is wound on the carrier. Lengths of the wound carrier are cut off and mounted in suitable containers to form fuses. The number of windings may be varied to change the current protection range.
