Abstract

1303572 Jet pumps PIAB AB 5 May 1971 [14 May 1970] 13385/71 Heading F1E An ejector has a number of channels 9 for compressed air, opening into a venturi tube 1 into which an inner tube 3 is fitted so as to be axially movable to increase or decrease the area of channel orifices. Air under pressure is fed to the channels 9 via an annular channel 13 formed between the outer surface of the venturi tube 1 and a sleeve 2 in which the venturi tube is rotatable but axial movement is prevented by pins 10 and a groove 11. A stop screw 18 limits movement of the inner tube 3 out of the venturi tube. Inter-changeable sleeves may be provided to fit in the inner tube 3 and portion 5 of the venturi tube to vary the cross-sectional area.
