1302175 Glazing WARD BROS (SHERBURN) Ltd 9 March 1970 [7 Oct 1969] 11224/70 Divided out of 1302174 Heading E1R A glazed or other panel assembly comprises astragal 11 of channel section with inturned flanges 15, and a gripping strip 12 of e.g. neoprene whose cross-section provides two opposed sides each provided with a channel 16 for reception of the marginal portion of a glass or other panel 10 and a channel 14 for the reception of one of the inturned flanges 15 of the astragal, and a longitudinally extending groove 17 in the side of the strip between the opposed sides, arranged to receive a deflecting or locking strip 13 which deforms the gripping strip when inserted in the groove so as to reduce the width of the channels and grip the elements inserted therein.
