Sewing - machines; duplex feed by dogs.- Relates to differential feeding mechanism of the type wherein two feed - dogs are given equal feed-and-return movements and differential rising - andfalling movements as described in Specification 115,339, and is described as applied to a machine described in Specification 122,905. The primary feed-dog 49 is carried bv a lever 41 pivoted on swinging arms 43 and actuated for rising-and-falling movements by an eccentric rod 46, and for feed- and-return movements by an eccentric rod 57. bellcrank lever 56, and link 50. The secondary lever 59 is carried by a bar 61 with an offset end 62 straddling the bar 41 and pivoted thereto at 63. The bar 61 carries an adjustable slide 65 with a pin 66 adapted to engage a slot 71 in a member 68 which is pivoted to the bar 41 by the pin 69, and is connected to a .fixed part of the frame by a link 70. Adjustment of the pin 66 out of line with the pin 69 produces the differential rising- and-falling movements required.
