Abstract

1296165 Two-part couplings AMP Inc 20 April 19 [22 May 1970] 10304/71 Heading H2E An edge connector for a printed circuit board comprises a base-plate 1 and one or two resilient arms 5 with contact portions 7. Extension arms 10 act as stops to prevent excessive opening of the contact arms. The connector is crimped to a conductor 2<SP>1</SP> and placed inside an insulating housing (Fig. 3, not shown), a spring tongue (12) preventing withdrawal. It is formed of a single blank of spring brass.
