Abstract

1,273,305. Thermal regenerators. AIR PREHEATER CO, Inc. 20 July, 1970 [24 July, 1969], No. 34996/70. Heading P4K. In a rotary regenerative heat exchange matrix comprising a plurality of plates having spaced rounded undulations or corrugations 34, each plate comprises a steel plate 32 coated with porcelain enamel 36. The coating may be applied by spraying, brushing or dipping. The rounded undulations have a radius of curvature r greater than 3/32 inch but less than 5/32 inch.
