Abstract
126,924. Ward, W. F., and Plaister, W. E., (trading as Brunswick Engineering Co.). Jan. 23, 1919. Hopper windows.-In a hopper or similar vent for a window, the movable frame D is held in various positions by two catches J adapted to engage notches F<2> in a strip F on the wing frames. The catches are fixed on a spring- pressed rotatable bar and simultaneously operated by a lever H with the aid of a hook or the like or by hand. Two springs K or a single spring at L press the catches into engagement with the notches F<2>. The curved shape of the catch results in tightening of the engagement under wind pressure on the outside.
