Abstract

1,266,845. Yarn traversing means. BARMAG BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK AG. 9 Jan., 1970 [11 Jan., 1969], No. 1124/70. Heading D1J. A one piece yarn traversing element, Figs. 1 and 2, comprises a base portion 1 that engages in a helical groove of a guide roller (not shown), a yarn guide 4, and a plate-like slide member 3 that rests in opposed guide grooves 5 in guide rails 6 extending in the traversing direction. The plate-like slide member 3 is of rhombus-shape as illustrated in Fig. 2 to allow the base portion 1 to rock about its axis when the base portion 1 changes its direction of inclination at the end of each traverse. The yarn traversing element has a neck 2 that is engaged on opposite sides by the guide rails 6.
