[Also in Divisions Cl and C3] A mould lining is made of a refractory bonded composition comprising, by weight, 1-10% carbon fibres 60-95% particulate refractory material 1-15% binding agent ¢-20% organic fibrous material. The lining can be in the form of a riser sleeve or hot-top liner slab for an ingot mould.
