Abstract

1,261,027. Bracelet. C. P. S. JEWELLERY CO. Ltd. 17 Sept., 1969 [21 Oct., 1968], No. 49820/68. Heading A3H. A bracelet of the type comprising two hollow, hingedly connected parts 1 and 2, a resilient metal strip 3 secured within the free end of one part, 1, and slidably engaged within the other part 2 and a releasable catch 7 for engagement with the free end of the part 2 is characterised in that the end of the strip 3, remote from the part 1, is bifurcated, each limb having an outwardly directed lug 6 for engagement with the plate 5 to prevent complete withdrawal of the strip from the part 2. The catch comprises a plate 7 arranged to latch behind the plate 5 when the free ends of the parts 1 and 2 are brought together and an upstanding finger portion 8, which is contained in the slot 9 when the bracelet is closed, for releasing the catch.
