Abstract

1,260,906. Stud and socket fastenings. COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS) Ltd. 12 May, 1970 [23 May, 1969], No. 26350/69. Heading E2B. A resilient clip 3, Fig. 1, comprises a solid stem 4 having at one end thereof a solid resiliently-deformable first part 5 for mounting the clip on a member such as a helmet 1, and having at the other end a relatively larger second part 8. The latter is provided with resilient jaws 11, 11, Figs. 2 and 3, which define an opening 13 leading to a bore 12. A cable or strap-like member (not shown) is received in the bore 12 and is held therein by means of the jaws 11, 11. The clip may be made of rubber.
