Abstract
1,255,720. Reinforcing mats. BAU-STAHLGEWEBE G.m.b.H. 3 Dec., 1969 [5 Dec., 1968], No. 58971/69. Heading E1W. [Also in Divisions D1 and D2] An arrangement of wire mats for reinforcing concrete comprises mats overlapping at their edges and additional narrow mats uniformly spaced between the overlaps. In the arrangement shown the mats are of uniform structure throughout, so that the overlaps and additional mats provide uniformly spaced reinforcement accumulations. In another arrangement the overlapping edges have half the steel cross section of the remainder, and the additional mats are themselves uniformly spaced.
