Abstract

1,248,963. Trollies. H. C. SLINGSBY Ltd., and G. SLINGSBY. 9 July, 1969 [22 Nov., 1968], No. 55469/68. Heading B7B. A hand truck comprises parallel side frame members 1a, 1b connected by cross pieces, a load plate 6 fixed to the side members, and a larger load member 11 pivoted to the frame. A U-shaped member 4 secured to plate 6 lies in the plane of the side members. The larger load member is U-shaped with its ends pivotally mounted between the ends of the side members and member 4. When inoperative, the larger member 11 is retained in the plane of the side members by a catch 14, and when operative rests on plate 6.
