A snap-action stud-and-socket comprises a pair of plastics sheets 15 which may be fused to garment or the like, and which have pressed up. bridge portions 21 which overlie one another in use. the ridge of the male member having slight pressed-up projections 27, 28 to give a snap engagement with the cut edge 22 of the female member.
