Abstract

1,244,064. Framework. S. DU CHATEAU and R. G. TAYLOR. 8 Aug., 1969 [9 Aug., 1968], No. 39831/69. Heading E1K. In a frame structure pyramidal units with polygonal bases are connected at the corners of the bases. In Fig. 2 the bases are square and the units are connected with their sides parallel by diagonal bolts passing through bosses welded to the corners of the bases. Upstanding members 10 of the units are welded to the corners of the base and to a central connecting member 9. Bracing members may connect the apical members 9.
