Abstract

1,242,619. Index tabs. MAPPEI-ORGANISATIONSMITTEL G.m.b.H. 12 Sept., 1969 [12 Sept., 1968], No. 45063/69. Heading B6E. An index tab made of a transparent plastics material to define an index label holding pocket 10 is formed by bending a strip of the material about a fold line 3 and attaching to the inner faces 5, 6 of the lower portions 1<SP>1</SP>, 2<SP>1</SP> of the shanks 1,2 of the tab a fleece which is impregnated with a self-adhesive and protected by a releasable strip 7, the fleece which is bent about a line 8 defining a recess 4 in which is received the upper edge of an index card (K, Fig. 1) following removal of the releasable strip 7.
