Abstract
1,242,429. Counters. ERNST POLLMANN, [trading as ERNST POLLMANN UHRENU APPARATEBAU OhG.]. 20 Nov., 1968 [20 Nov., 1967], No. 55082/68. Heading G4D. A count selector, especially for tape recorders, comprises a set of selector wheels 5 by which discs 11 between the number wheels 3 of the counter can be adjusted. The hubs of the number wheels contain spring-pressed contacts 19 so that attainment of the set number by the counter completes a circuit through these contacts, contact pins 15 and discs 11 to stop the motor driving the counter. The counter can be zeroized by depressing a key 23 acting on heartcams. The counter can be rendered inactive by turning the highest selector to 9 whereby the associated disc 11<SP>1</SP> is turned to bring its contact pin 25 out of engagement with terminal contact plate 27.
