Abstract

1,230,938. Aqueous inks containing polyethylene. FARBWERKE HOECHST A.G. 7 Nov., 1969 [7 Nov., 1968], No. 54708/69. Heading C4A. Aqueous flexographic inks contain an aqueous dispersion of polyethylene, preferably wherein the solids content of the latter constitutes 0À5- 3% of the total weight of the ink. The aqueous polyethylene dispersion may have a solids content of 30-50% by wt. In the example an aqueous polyethylene dispersion prepared as in U.S.A. Specification 3,400,089. Ex. 10, is added to a commercial aqueous flexographic ink free from wax and polyethylene.
