1,216,637. Printing ink containing polyethylene wax. FARBWERKE HOESCHT A.G. 19 May, 1969 [25 May, 1968], No. 25297/69. Heading C3P. A printing ink containing 0À5-3% by weight of the total composition, of a polyethylene wax of M.W. = 3000-12,000 or a mixture of at least 50% of said wax and at most 50% of a polyethylene wax of M.W. = 1500-3000, is found to have improved resistance to abrasion and chafing. The polyethylene wax of M.W.= 3000-12,000 may be made by degration of high or low pressure polyethylene.
