In a collar-attached shirt, the front edges 8, 9 run smoothly into respective front ends 10, 11 of the collar and the uppermost button and buttonhole or like fastening means 5, 6 are spaced from one to three inches below the top edge 7 of the collar. The inner neck band and outer collar surfaces 1, 2 are formed from one piece of material 3, 4 which extend along the front edge portion of the shirt. The neck band and collar may include stiffening means.
