Abstract
1,041,908. Shirts; neckwear. L. C. PAINTER. Aug. 18, 1964, No. 33762/64. Heading A3V. A shirt or windcheater has two elongated members B secured permanently or detachably one at each side of a neck opening C which may be tied to simulate a cravat. The cravat members hang inside the shirt etc. when not tied, being sewn to the inner face of the neckband, Fig. 1, not shown, or having their ends B<SP>11</SP> passed through slits A<SP>1</SP> in the neckband and secured to a button E on the outer face of the neckband. There may be means on the cravat members for fastening them together where they cross.
