Abstract

1,227,107. Duplicating apparatus. SCRIPTOMATIC S.A. 28 Nov., 1969 [28 July, 1969], No. 58233/69. Heading B6C. Master cards C and moistened workpieces W are passed together through a plurality of pairs of rollers 25-28, then the cards C are received in a hopper 18 and the work-pieces W, which have received imprints from the cards C, collect in a bin 19. Each pair of rollers may comprise one fixed roller and one which is movable and resiliently biased towards the other. The rollers 25, 26, 28 may be of aluminium, with a surface layer of a fluorinated hydrocarbon such as polytetrafluorethylene and the roller 27, which advances the workpieces, may be of rubber.
