Abstract
1,223,608. Hull forms. INSTITUT FUR SCHIFFBAU. 5 March, 1968, No. 10584/68. Heading B7A. A ship's hull has vertical shipsides 36 extending downwardly to a juncture 34 with inclined sides 16 of the hull which extend between the vertical shipsides and the hull bottom from bow to stern of the hull. The juncture 34 extends continuously around the hull above the load waterline and the portion of the hull below the juncture is trapezoidal in crosssection. At least one chine 26 is located at the turn of the bilges.
