Abstract
122,344. Collis, A. G., and Crompton &. Co. April 23, 1918. Protective arrangements. -For protecting an alternating-current distribution system against reversal of energy and other abnormal conditions, current and potential transformers are connected in the system. and their secondaries C, D are connected together in series in a closed circuit. the relay F being connected between the points of interconnexion of the two secondaries, as shown, and serving on reversal &c. to complete the local circuit G of the tripping-coil H. A choke coil E or a resistance coil may be inserted in the closed circuit for adjustment purposes.
